if you read yesterday’s post, you will remember that we had a great opportunity to thoroughly share the gospel with a group of lads….

Last night late this young man called Alen, gave his life to the Lord in the quietness of his own bedroom!

This is really exciting for us! Pls pray that the pastors in our wake do a good job of ‘follow up’.

Also this morning Alan and I walked into a village called Borova ( on the way to Slatina) there were a group blokes outside an off-licence drinking.. No work and no hope. After a while of nothing happening, Mike felt led to kneel down and pray for the village and these men!

After a while Alan came and knelt down with him. We prayed that the spirit of alcoholism and despair would be broken and that the Spirit of God would break out in the village.

With that done we set of down the road again. We had not travelled 500 metres when a man called Ilijia came over to us. He had Taken a tract out side the off-licence earlier and now had read the tract, prayed the prayer on the back and was clearly emotional.  Mike prayed with him in the middle of the road.

Ilija invited us to his house to meet his wife and another relative. We prayed with them for healing. His wife Anja testified to being delivered from pain in her legs. Ilija pointed to the message in the gospel tract  and communicated with tears in his eyes, that we had brought hope to his life! .he was so happy about our visit. We ate some raw meat and homemade bread and some liquid that we politely put to our lips!!!

We managed to be travelling in the wrong direction after this but got rescued after a few Km’s by a professor from the theological college in Osijek!! We are scheduled to minister their next Tuesday…..what was the chances of that???!!!!!!!!
